Subfloor repair is usually needed when floors begin feeling soft, uneven, bouncy or unstable underfoot. You may notice creaking sounds becoming worse, sections of flooring dipping, movement between floorboards or visible signs of water damage around the room. Moisture from plumbing leaks, damp conditions or poor ventilation can slowly weaken timber beneath the flooring without obvious warning signs at first.
